Three of the Best Rooftop Spots in Denver

Rooftop season is finally upon us! We have gathered some of the best spots in Denver to catch a rooftop sunset or to enjoy a refreshing happy hour drink!

First up we have Avanti, the “collective eatery” food hall. Located in LoHi with one of the best rooftop views in Denver, it was also voted 2022 Westword’s Best of Denver’s Reader’s Choice for Best Food Hall. Avanti is a modern eating concept with a plethora of cuisine types all located at different vendor stations throughout the restaurant. Avanti also offers over twenty types of draft beer, many classic cocktails, and affordably priced glasses of wine in addition to their food menu making it a one stop shop for the night! They also host events for the public as well as private parties. Every Thursday night at 9pm you can head over to Avanti to watch a movie on a 30 foot screen while enjoying a drink or appetizer special AND the first 20 people to set up camp for their weekly summer movie night get a New Belgium beer on the house! This rooftop eatery is one you won’t want to miss!

Next we have 54Thirty which sits atop the Le Méridien hotel in Downtown Denver. 54Thirty is an elevated experience (literally) with its focus on handcrafted cocktails, appetizers, and main entrees to give you a taste of cuisine from all around the world. Like Avanti, they also will host your private parties and are first come first serve. They also have an “Elevated Beats DJ Series'' every Thursday night from 6-10pm to keep the good vibes coming as you sip and taste your favorite drinks and apps! Twenty floors above the city, revel in the beautiful views of Downtown Denver with the Rocky Mountains not far behind!

Last but certainly not least, we have El Five in LoHi right next to the very popular Little Man Ice Cream! El Five is a rooftop tapas restaurant with gorgeous and unobstructed views of the Highlands in Denver as well as Downtown! El Five prides themselves as a, “melting pot of all the Mediterranean regions, creating dishes without a home country, that taste like favorites from each one”. Their tapas dishes are meant to be smaller portions to share with others as a tasting menu to sample a little bit of everything! They also have paella which is a traditional Valencian-Spanish rice dish, often containing seafood such as shrimp, mussels, or clams in a large pan with enough to share with the whole family or friends!

Whether you’re cruising around Denver in search of a happy hour drink or a quick bite to eat, these rooftop spots will not disappoint; Round up your friends and family and head up to one of these rooftops to enjoy a beautiful Rocky Mountain sunset all summer long!
